Welcome to Cloncurry State School P-12

 

Cloncurry State School is a Prep to Grade 12 School located in the North West Queensland, approx 800kms from Townsville and 121kms from Mount Isa.

Our students and staff enjoy the laid back country atmosphere only offered by smaller towns and are surrounded by the natural beauty of the Australian Outback.

We strive to provide our students with many opportunities in all aspects of learning, including academic, sporting, musical and cultural activities aiming to have 'Excellence in Education in the Outback!'

The five behavioural issues we are focussing on this term:
1. Inappropriate language - not acceptable and will not be tolerated
2. Mobile phones - if they are seen they will be taken
3. Wide brimmed hats - no hat no play
4. Spitting
